If you missed Part 1, you can view my previous post >>HERE<< In part one, we shared how the first or top part of our funnel was designed to work to capture leads and build your email list.
Today we are going to share the second part of our Funnel. We will refer to this as the “Customer Acquisition” stage or level, depending on how you want to look at it. In this stage of the funnel is where we will be converting as many of our Leads as possible into our paying customers.
The first step in this process is offering our leads (people on our email list) a low cost Item, with low-risk. In our case, it is “The Iceberg Effect”. This is a Book written by Dean Holland (My Mentor). The Forward of this book is a statement from Russell Brunson. If you have been in Affiliate Marketing any time at all, you have probably heard this guy’s name mentioned more than once. Russell is the co-founder of Click Funnels, one of the top-rated platforms/programs used to make a variety of different funnels. His platform is used around the world by Affiliate Marketers. We have even used Click funnels in the past, as a funnel builder for some of the programs that we were associated with. It is a good program; however, it takes a little getting used to. With that said, it may have been just our inexperience in how things were supposed to work together which made it a little awkward. Dean has been in what we refer to as a “Mastermind” group together with Russell. Imagine a group meeting with all the “Elites” from the Affiliate Marketing Industry, where they get together to discuss how they can make the whole industry even better. (Well, at least that’s how we look at it…😁)
Deans book is very well written, and easy to follow, even for someone that only has a slight interest in beginning an Affiliate Marketing Business.

The reviews ranked with 58% giving it 5 stars, 19% gave it 4 stars, 12% gave it 3 stars, 4% gave it 2 stars and 7% gave it 1 star… We read some of the reviews and took into consideration the price it was listed for on Amazon. If we use a scale from 1 to 5, where 5 is the Best… 89% of the reviews ranked it 3 and above… Not too bad in our Opinion… and that was at a $20 price.

Look at all the choices…
You don’t just have one item that is available to offer your leads, you have an unlimited number. It doesn’t have to be a Book (Even though I Love Books 🥰) It could be a Webinar, A Training of some kind, A Tool or Software that would be beneficial to our customer, even a Newsletter that has value. Books are something that you can physically hold in your hand, it seems to have more value because we can touch it, turn the pages, and see it, unlike a PDF or other Electronic transmitted offer. It’s an Item we can show to others and even let others read it.
Don’t be afraid to think outside the Cereal Box! The item isn’t the main focus, it’s the VALUE the customer perceives it offers.
