Then I Woke Up…

Have you ever had one of those dreams that seemed so real but then you woke up to reality? Thats what happened when I took the first route into the “Shiny Objects” nightmare. 😲

After I watched the “Free Webinar” that had all the answers 🙄, I signed up for the next “Shiny Object” they had to offer… Before I knew it, I had all these software programs that I “Needed”, and then I had to have all these other different programs, to make the first programs I bought, work with each other. The program did what it said it would do… I did have a business, it was up and running in 3 days, and I had all the monthly bills to prove it 🤣

It wasn’t Funny then, but I can look back now and see why a lot of people fail when it comes to starting a business in Affiliate Marketing. There are tons of programs out there, that look good on the outside, especially to a person like me that really wants it to succeed. The problem that you run into, once you get the shiny wrapping paper off, it’s not at all what you thought it would be on the inside.

You wake up and realize that your Dream has turned into a Nightmare!

The sad part is that you continue with all these “pay for monthly” programs because you were taught that you needed them, and without them YOU WILL FAIL!

I’m here to tell you that is NOT THE TRUTH!

Yes, you can get the job done by combining all these tools, but it isn’t cost effective, and it isn’t smart business. We had to learn this the Expensive way, hard way, and Not Smart Way… There are tools that can do a much better job, less expensive than most of the others, especially when you look at the functionality of what the tools can do. You also need to look at what you don’t need. We were paying a premium for programs that we never really utilized and all that it did was to make OUR bank account smaller while we made a payment for their fancy car or big house.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK! DO NOT RUSH INTO ANYTHING BLINDLY! YOU CAN, AND YOU WILL “SUCCEED” BY  MAKING SMART CHOICES AND RECOVERING FROM YOUR MISTAKES ASAP. (you will make mistakes 😣)

Most of the programs that are on the market today, that you will need to use, have some sort of a free trial period. Some may even have a discounted special for a limited time. Use that to your advantage. If it doesn’t work, GET RID OF IT! If you do not use it, GET RID OF IT! If you find something better for a better price, GET RID OF THE ONE YOU DON’T USE. Money that you can save, is money that you have, to re-invest into yourself and your business.

I found a Mentor that actually taught me that (and that was before I decided to Join his Program!) . It wasn’t about selling you something, it was about helping you succeed in Affiliate Marketing by following a proven plan. Learning to Push forward in areas where you might feel uncomfortable, but doing so in an Ethical and Honest way, is something you don’t see taught to often.

Our turning point was coming…
