Over the weekend I had the ability to spend some time with Harper (My Granddaughter)
She never ceases to amaze me in how fast she picks up on things, or how determined she is to accomplish her task at hand.
As I was carrying her across the yard in my arms, she said “Airplane” then she looked me in the eyes, and I asked her “Where?”
She pointed up at a vapor trail that was going across the sky with a tiny silver dot leading the way…
My reply was “Your right! Good Job Baby Girl!”
Her face lit up and she grinned from ear to ear… Just one of the many things that made GrandPa’s day…
She wanted me to put her down so she could crawl… So, I did what any Grandpa would do… WE, on our hands and knees, started our adventure across the yard, side by side…
As she is crawling, she notices every detail… every bug… every twig… and after crawling 20 feet or so, she looks at me to make sure I’m beside her… She smiles and continues on…
After making several trips to the large Maple Tree and back to the front porch steps, (which would equal about 200 yards) she shows me that she can make it up the 4 steps without any help.
When she reaches the top, she turns to me and smiles (This is another time that Grandpa’s Heart melts) and again I tell her what a Great Job she has done.
Keep in mind, this baby was born with Spina Bifida, and we were told, when she was born, there was a huge probability that she would not be able to use her legs… (It hasn’t slowed her down)
I am giving you the introduction above to tell you this:
“Life” isn’t always easy… BUT, “Life” isn’t always hard either.
If every business owner had a partner like Harper Grace, there would be nothing that we couldn’t accomplish!
As many of us have found out, when starting our Affiliate Marketing business, support is rare from those close to you. In Fact, most of those people are going to tell you that it’s a waste of your time, a waste of your effort, a waste of your money… (You get the point 😔) It’s sad but true…
You must be grounded in your Business with the real reason “WHY” you are doing what you do.
I was fortunate to find a Program, “Internet Profits” with Coaches like Dean Holland, and a Mentors such as Sophie Byde and Glenn Shepherd, that have gone well out of their way to support my business and help me grow. The skills that I have learned not only support my business, but allow me to help others…
So many great things are possible if you have the right tools, right mindset, and right support system! BTW, the new “Affiliate System” that we have been testing…. “AWESOME!!!”
So, my question to you…
How do you place “Value” on what you do?
You can’t use someone else’s scale to measure it… It’s YOUR scale!
Don’t get so wrapped up in your business that you forget your “WHY”…
I could build my whole business around Harper Grace, I could get so busy building the business, that I forget the real reason “WHY” I started it in the first place…
Sometimes it’s good to slow down, turn off your phone, cancel or reschedule all your calls for the day, get down on your knees and crawl across the yard with that special someone 🥰🥰🥰
