It’s a Matter of Perspective…
One of the biggest areas that we struggle with the most is negativity from outside sources.
I think we have all ran across at least some form of this during our Online Business building process.
Whether it be from friends or family, people that don’t even know you, or sadly sometimes even from ourselves. If this negativity isn’t handled properly, it could lead to feelings of discouragement, defeat, and stress.
Building a business is a task, even when you know all the ends and outs of the business you are looking to start.
So, what if we have no experience in the business we are trying to start?
Let’s take the example of a Brick-and-Mortar store. You must first have a plan and layout of your design before the first brick is placed in position. What will you sell? How will you display your items? What location will you use? What type of advertising will you use to promote your products?
While all this is going through your mind, there is tiny thought that creeps in…
What if this doesn’t work?… What will I do then?
Luckily, we don’t have all those expenses in an Online Business. We still must figure out a strategy for building our audience, advertising, email marketing and such, but it is still much cheaper than a Brick-and-Mortar operation.
I was listening to a seminar on “10 principles you must know to succeed in your business”. This seminar was taught by someone that had a very rough upbringing but decided to change his destination by changing his direction.
One of the Quotes he used in his presentation was by Lewis Carrol.
“If you don’t know where your going, any road will take you there.”
Having someone with the experience to help you lay out your plan and strategy is a great help to get you heading in the right direction. It will, however, require that you put in the work and dedication to make sure the plan and strategy succeed.
Results are usually not seen in the beginning of building your Online business because we are looking in the wrong direction… Let me explain…
“Results” by definition = a consequence, effect, or outcome of something.
So, you haven’t seen any Results you say…
Have you learned anything on your journey so far?
Have you learned to create funnels or websites?
Do you understand what a lead magnet is?
Do you understand the importance of emails and how to add affiliate links?
Can you make workflows and trigger links?
Have you made a link tree, blog page, or made a post on any social media site?
Have you created a Lead Ad, Lead Magnet, or Newsletter?
Do you understand the importance of your “WHY” and why you must have it?
Do you know what Autoresponders, Domains, Host, DNS settings, and DMARC settings are?
If you have answered yes to any of these, you have made “Results” whether you want to see it that way or not… These are areas that must be understood to build the rock-solid foundation for your business.
You must understand, “Results” are not just a reflection of money and sales you have made, but also a measurement of every positive step you have taken since the beginning of your journey.
I will end with this…
Have you seen results in your Business?
