You have made it to the final part of our 5 Part Series on “Whirlwind of Success.”
We hope you have enjoyed this series and we have helped you understand the way in which Funnels work and are used in Affiliate Marketing.
We have covered our Lead Magnet in Part 1, Customer Acquisition in Part 2, Maximizing the Value in Part 3, Recurring Revenue in Part 4… Now it’s time to reveal the final ingredient in the “Whirlwind of Success” Funnel…
*** 👉 INSERT CLIFFHANGER HERE 👈***
But before we do… (I’ve always wanted to do that 😜)
Back to being serious now… You must understand that a Category 5 Hurricane starts as a simple tropical wave. The ingredients that it takes to change from one form to another vary. The combinations of these ingredients must increase for the Hurricane to get to its maximum potential.
Likewise, the work that you are willing to dedicate into building your funnel will be the greatest determining factor of the Success or Failure of your funnel. This final step in the funnel building process is one that a lot of Affiliate Marketers never achieve and that is for several different reasons. Some give up before they reach this step because their mind has been trained by others to tell them that it’s an impossible task and they can’t do it. Others never realize the Benefit of this last step because they may be in a program that never teaches them that they are able to go further. Still others get comfortable staying right where they are and some just give up completely because they don’t see the outcome they were looking for, in the amount of time that they set for themselves.
The Question that we need to answer…
“What do we need to add to our funnel in order to turn this Whirlwind into a Category 5 Hurricane?”
And the Answer is…
Premium Products
Definition from Investopedia: “Premium” in a broad sense is a price paid for above and beyond some basic or intrinsic value. The word “premium” is derived from the Latin praemium, where it meant “reward” or “prize.”
Definitions from Oxford Languages: “Products” – an article or substance that is manufactured or refined for sale.
In a nutshell, or simple terms: Premium Products are our “Higher Ticket” items or products, our “Top of the Line” products that we offer our customers that have the “Highest amount of Value” that we can give to our customers, at the same time, these products are able to generate the “Highest amount of Income” for our Business.
“A Higher Value Solution to our Customers Problems”
Examples of such products would include Coaching Programs – These programs would be offered to your existing customers. They could include “ONE-ON-ONE” phone calls, Zoom Meetings, Live Webinars, Question and Answer Sessions, and so much more.
Let’s imagine that one of our customers has purchased a package of products from us. What they have now we could compare to the “Cliff Notes” version of How to Build a Profitable Affiliate Marketing business. What if we offered to hypothetically: Sit down and read the book to them, giving them our “In Person” Commentary, while answering any questions they might have? How much added Value would a product like that benefit our customers? That would be Awesome, wouldn’t it?
Let’s look at it from another direction and compare it to driving a car. I learned to drive at the very young age of ten. Of course, that wasn’t on the road, it was in a hay field on my grandparents’ property. My dad had a Chevy Luv Truck with a manual transmission. He taught me about how to shift the gears and showed me how to use the clutch petal. He showed me how to use the brake, clutch, and gas all at the same time, if I was stopped on a hill. He even showed me how to park by using the hay bales in the field and how to back a trailer by only using your side mirrors…
What if my dad decided not to take the time to show me those things, but instead tossed me a Drivers Manual and a Service Manual and said, “Everything you need to know is inside those books.” Would I have been able to figure it out over time… Maybe. Did my dad’s coaching on how to drive offer more Value to me than the books… Absolutely!
I remember when I first started learning to pick locks as a Certified Locksmith… I asked one of our experienced Locksmiths… “How much tension do you put on a lock cylinder while trying to pick it?” His Answer… “Just Enough.” 🤣 About 8 years later, I had a newbie asked me that very same question… My answer… “Just Enough.” (It’s more of a feeling, rather than a number… and every lock is different.)
I admit, some things we just must learn on our own… However, most things end up having better results when you have someone to show you how it is done.
We can do the same with our customers. Not all our customers will opt in for our “Premium Products” offers. The ones that do see the value in our offer should become a great source of “Word of Mouth” advertising for our Premium Products.
Every Affiliate Marketers Dream should be to Build, Create, and Sell their “Own Premium Products” and be able to introduce them as the final ingrediant of their funnel. This is the 5th and final part of building your funnel. Indeed, this is not an overnight process. It may require outside sources if it is beyond your skillset. It may even require forming a partnership of Trusted People that are willing to invest in the creation of the product.
We are Certified Partners in the “InternetProfits” program referred to as “InternetProfits Accelerator” . This program isn’t for everyone. It requires hard work and dedication. We understand the importance of Mentors and Coaches in our Journey to Success. We hope you understand as well. For more information about this program, follow the link Above.
In Conclusion of this 5-part series, we hope that we have been able to share the process needed to turn your “Whirlwind of Success” into your “Catagory 5 Hurricane”. We hope we have shared the process in a way that you could easily follow and understand. We wish you the Best in building your Funnels and hope you will apply what you have learned in whatever market niche applies to you.

I love the locksmith analogy. Just like marketing, it is both an art and a science. Some of the things, you can learn directly from a mentor. Some of the things, you need to use your own intuition and feelings.

Alan, I couldn’t agree more! We may start with great instructions from others but we have to fine tune the process through what we do and what we determine to have the best results. Thanks for the comment!
The other thing with premium products is that they tend to be more expensive, which means people tend to be more diligent about using them, the more we pay the more we care! For example on the locksmith front, I once worked on a suite of 2000 locks for an industrial complex. Highly sensitive, but with lots of contractors coming and going. They used to take a £10 deposit when a contractor took keys to access various plant rooms, after a while they up the deposit to £250. They found that at £10 contractors, at the end of the day, on a Friday, could not be bothered to return to the admin building to return the keys, saving 15 minutes was worth more than the £10
Thanks Tony! You are correct as the price determines the value in most cases. I can totally see where adjusting the deposit would be beneficial to maintaining the security of the complex as well as increasing the value of returning the keys to the contractors. A lesson that we need to learn and apply in our business of Affiliate Marketing.
I love this, “a Category 5 hurricane starts as a simple tropical wave”. This is how I feel about affiliate marketing as well, you must start off slow, building and creating the foundation, setting up all the steps of learning, and then you keep growing and learning, getting better and better ( bigger and bigger in the case of the hurricane lol), sending emails, building know like and trust, then you can start offering the premium products!
Thank you Alison for your comment! Sometimes I catch myself wanting to jump ahead to the “CAT 5” only to realize that I only have the ingredients to create a “CAT 2″…🤣… If we continue to learn from our Mentors and Coaches, Apply what we learn, and continue to make forward progress… Watch out! Here We Come!
It’s so important to have a good coach even when you don’t know that. You will waste what is most precious. Time.

Eleanor, I 100% agree! TIME is the most valuable thing we have and all to often we don’t even realize it. We may not be able to change the past, but we can definitely change the FUTURE! Thanks for your comment!
Great job David,
Fantastic way to put things. I need that kind of help, the hand holding. I have a hard enough time reading blogs and understanding them, then having someone show me what to do. I get it! I appreciate that way you told it. I might need some rethinking on my part.
Hope Harper is doing well – such a cutie pie.
Sandy
Thank you Sandy for your comment. Harper is doing Fantastic! She took steps on her own the other day while pushing one of her big toys across the room. She is truly amazing and the determination she has makes me continually want to be the best that I can be. We can accomplish anything by taking one step at a time!
I take great value from all the mentors in my life. I’ve kept what they’ve taught on the drawing board for my success. It is a great journey which I wouldn’t trade for anything!
I agree Kate! As I look back over the years there are a few people that stand out more than others. My grandfather was one of those people. He had few words to say, but if you watched the life he lived… He really didn’t have to say much, His actions told his story!
Hi Dave!
We are students in this game called life. Having a mentor/teacher adds much more value to our learning experiences. There will be times when we must try on our own, but having trusted resources in the wings allows us to have the confidence to soar!
All the best!

Yes we are! There will always be something new to learn and having the help of others to learn it is priceless. Onward to SPREADING THOSE WINGS!!!
David, on my journey, there’s been times when you buy a course or follow a PDF on how to do something. Even though they have valuable advice you can’t actually do it because you don’t know how. Mentors and coaches are so important because they’ve done it, they have lived and breathed it. It’s from them that I gain the confidence and the no how to make this happen. Thanks so much, Atif
Atif Perwiz recently posted…How can you start affiliate marketing?
Absolutely correct Atif. Learning from others that have already made it over the hurdles that we are just now approaching is a HUGE help. Without my coaches and Mentor, I would be lost in the woods at night without a flashlight and no cell phone…LOL I’m So greatful to have those that we can learn from! Thanks! David
HI David,
We are all looking forward to a hurricane ahead but there certainly is a lot to learn and become fine tuned to in order to succeed. I am some distance away from having my own products so for now, affiliate sales will suffice, but I agree, the goal would be best set high. Our only hope to succeed in the greater goals is with mentors to guide us…great analogy with the driving lessons 🙂
Sharel, You are not alone! I have so much to learn… I have went through several notebooks writing down tips, hints, homework, and ideas. It’s a process and with coaching and mentors we will succeed! Set our goals and continue taking those steps toward them and as long as we are moving forward we will reach them!
