With any New Business finding a way to acquire your customers is the first key to your success.
The question that you may be asking… How do we do that?
The very first thing we must understand is “people” or what we refer to as “Traffic” is already out there… “Somewhere”… All we must do is find out where they are… Simple enough…?
As and example: I drive the interstate to and from the machine shop job every day, Monday through Friday. I see traffic going in all directions, at all times day and night. When I’m running calls for our locksmith business, I see traffic as well. We know people are going places and doing things because we can physically see them. With that said, not all these people need something machined or need a key made or their house unlocked.
The same is true when it comes to our “Online” business. We may not be able to physically see them, but we know the traffic is there… “Somewhere”…
Where do we start to find the traffic that we are looking for?
You will hear the words “Targeted Traffic” used often in the Online business world. The word “Niche” is another term that you will hear as well. These words will go hand in hand with each other.
Let’s discuss the meaning of the word “Niche” first… Webster’s defines it as “a place, employment, status, or activity for which a person or thing is best fitted”. In simple terms, it’s a more specific area of focus when it comes to our marketing efforts.
Harper Grace Solutions, LLC is focused on the Niche of “Making Money Online” and to narrow that down even further, we do so through the “Affiliate Marketing” business model.
We are sure that you already know there are many ways to “make money online”. Once you have chosen what way or business model you want to use, and what products you want to offer, you have established the “Niche” that you want to be a part of.
Let’s look at the term “Targeted Traffic”… The best definition Webster’s has for “Targeted” as it applies to us, is the verb – to make a target of, to direct or use toward a target.
Unfortunately, not everyone will be interested in what we have to offer. We must find the people or “Traffic” that will be interested in what we have to offer… That specific “Traffic” we are looking for, now becomes our “Targeted Traffic”…
We do not want to spend our Money, Time, or Efforts on “Traffic” that may not be interested in the Value that we are offering… That would be a waste of our resources. We can eliminate that waste of resources by focusing our efforts on where our Traffic would most likely be located. According to Google Ads, “Making Money Online” has an average search volume between 10K-100K monthly, whereas “Affiliate Marketing” has an average monthly search volume between 100K-1M. << 👀 This is the “Traffic” we are looking for.
Do a little research on where your Targeted Traffic hangs out, what sites they visit, what groups they are members of and so on… Visit other people’s Blogging pages to get Ideas on who it is that you are looking for… The more information you collect on your “Targeted Traffic” the better you will be able to put your information in front of them, whether it be by creating Ads, post’s, promotions, or any other means.
Harper Says:
Finding people that are interested in what you have to offer is easy for me. I just look at them with my blue eyes and hold things up and they take them.
In our Online Business, it’s a little more difficult…
You CAN and WILL find them, you just might have to look a little harder…
David, I like your Part 1 and how you lay it all out about targeted traffic and how it relates to your every day life. You make a good point and one I will need to put into practice more – and that is the research and collecting of as much information I can about my targetted traffic.
If only my looks and blue eyes were the only thing needed to attract targeted traffic – like Harper does!

Hi, David! Lol! I love what Harper has to say! It’s an easy way to understand traffic.
We hold something up, and the traffic takes up our offer. The trick is getting that targeted traffic. I look forward to your next post.
