This week has been long, but also seems that it passed by so quick… ever have those weeks?
We are still on overtime at the machine shop and of course the Summer Heat is just getting started. 🥵
Most of us have a similar routine every day…
Alarm clock goes off… We wake up… Get ready… Drive to work… Work till Lunch… Take Lunch… Go back to Work… Clock Out… Run Errands… Arrive back home… Start getting something ready for supper… Clean Up… Get ready for bed… Finally Get to Sleep… Alarm Clock Goes off…
Sound Familiar?
The other day Harper was watching this video on YouTube…
I’m sure most of us have seen or at least heard about “The Wheels on the Bus”
You Know…
“The Wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round… The wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town”
Sometimes I feel my life is the same way…
Between running a Machine Shop, Being a Locksmith, Being a Husband, a Dad, a “Pa Pa”, Building an Online Business, Trying to get things done around the house…
It can feel as though sometimes we get bogged down and we need to check the air pressure in our tires…
OR
One of our front tires is almost flat and it tends to start trying to pull us off the road…
OR
We may even feel like the tires are ready to completely fall off our “BUS” at times…
Don’t Panic! Take time to “Breathe!”
We tend to build stress into our everyday lives that we could live without, that’s for sure!
The best way I have found to handle the chaos of everyday life… Spending time with my “WHY”
When I get home, walk in the door and hear “Pa Pa!”, I take my phone and lay it on the counter, I take my glasses and place them beside my phone (Reading Glasses), I take the pens and screw drivers out of my pockets and place them there as well…
Now I’m READY!
I’m fixing to get that low tire aired up, those lug nuts tightened, even get that front end alignment that I was needing, to stay on track!
When I pick Harper Grace up and she gives me that big hug…
Out the door we go… Looking at the birds, Airplanes, cars, even playing with sticks…
It’s during these moments, the entire reason, I do what I do, looks back at me with those pretty blue eyes and grins and says, “oh, Pa pa…”
Yep, I’m ready for the next Bus Ride…
Until next time!
