At the end of the month, we have a “Monthly Review” where we can send in our tracking sheet for Dean (Our Mentor) to look over and give us his input on what to focus on and in what areas. This is only one of the advantages of being an Internet Profits Partner in our opinion. Accountability is a good thing to make sure we stay on track, and we are making progress.
In this Month’s review, Dean suggested that we look at the possibility of sending our more emails to the people we have on our list. At the present time, we are sending 2 emails a week. These emails are sent out according to when we make a blog post and usually fall on a Tuesday and Friday.
If we recall the 4 core areas of focus we have made a Blog Post about in the past:
We have been acquiring traffic through Facebook, our Primary “Paid Traffic” source, through the use of Facebook Lead Ads…
We have been capturing our Leads by using our “Avoiding the Pitfalls” lead magnet Opt-in Form which adds our Leads to our list…
We have been Following up with our Lists through sending emails on Tuesdays and Fridays when possible…
We have been making offers through those emails in the form of links we view appropriate and useful for those on our list…
In our review, we need to focus on the latter of the two stages…
We have decided to create a workflow which would deliver daily emails to our list for a period of 30 days.
A few things you must remember:
Everyone is not at the same stage in your list or on their Journey.
It’s rare that everyone is opening every email that you send.
Several factors make effect the opening of your emails such as “Time of Day”, “Day of the Week”, and even “Subject Line.”
Our plans are to monitor these areas in our new workflow to see if we can determine and achieve the best results possible.
Bottom line is “You Don’t Know, What You Don’t Know”
SO… Our “Take-a-Way” from our review was a mindset change from “2 Emails a week should be enough” to “What is the optimum number of emails we need to send in a day, week, or month to achieve the best results for Ourselves and those on our List”
This is very good information. I will be using Facebook Lead Ads soon. How long did it take for you to begin to get traffic, what does your email sequence look like and how many emails in total are sent? It is encouraging for me to see your success! Thanks for sharing your progress and ideas.

Ernie, thanks for your comment. Since Facebook Lead Ads is a paid source, your leads will come as soon as you start. I average about 33% on Leads versus Total Clicks. At the present time, I have a workflow created with 5 emails that deliver the lead magnet and a few other training sources as well as tell me leads who I am and why Im building my online business. I also send out an email 2 times a week to my list when I make a blog post. During my Monthly review, Dean suggested that I increase the number of emails as well as the offers that I include in them… I am currently working on a workflow that would stretch out for 30 days.
Hi, David!
You make a good point. We need to transition from doing just enough to doing the optimum level.
Good point! I need to send more emails.
Thank you for that!

David,
What a great post. Educational and insightful. Self analysis is so important to a successful business. I liked your flow and how it was so easy to follow. I will use your suggestions for sure. Well done.

With ~90% of sales resulting from emails, it is no wonder Dean has you focusing on this area. This is my area of focus currently as well as I prepare for running Facebook Lead Ads. I have been drafting and editing a welcome sequence. I want to take my potential customer on a journey through my emails, helping them accomplish their goals and offering the right products at the right times, This is a challenging task but one I am excited to take on! I am looking forward to learning more about your journey and the lessons learned as you create your emails!
Yes the broadcast emails! I just sent one out tonight. I must practice doing them more often! Twice a week or more isn’t that difficult!
This business is like a juggling act. I need some organizational tools to keep the balls in the air!!
This is great advice but at the same time seems rather daunting to one who struggles to know what to say in one email let alone 30. I’m not quite at that stage yet as I don’t have anyone on my email list. Good luck with what you’re doing.
Very interesting reading and I am looking forward to sending out emails soon. Harper is so cute and I look forward to following you in the future.

Harper is the smartest kid I know. I really love the ‘Harper says’ section. I sometimes scroll to that bit first before reading the blog.
I didn’t even think about sending more e-mails. I think it’s because I only write 1 blog a week. Would you suggest writing more?
Sarah, My hardest struggle is finding the time to write my post outside of 2 full time jobs. With that said, I enjoy sharing what I learn and always get encouragement from Harper. She is a true inspiration when it comes to learning and determination. I believe my focus will be creating a workflow that includes about 30 emails that will deliver one a day. I will focus on my newest leads as an introduction to my “WHY” while at the same time, my blog post will include information for my “not so new” leads as well. Keep in mind, not all of your emails will get opened (for what-ever-reason) even by those that opt-in, so if we send more, the better chances of our leads “Seeing” our emails and opening them. (That will be my test 😁)
David,
Currently I am working on creating my emails which will be sending. and will then be moving forward with sending emails 2x a week. I have been interested in Facebook lead ads and will be looking forward to hearing your result. Harper is so right that progress is not made by standing still. Such a smart girl.

Wow, David, this monthly review sounds like it’s both a reality check and a strategy session rolled into one! I loved the blend of honesty and humor—especially that bit about realizing “2 emails a week should be enough” might not be enough after all (I need to work on my email sending!) . It’s like thinking one slice of pizza is enough; it’s never enough, right? Keep those updates and insights coming, they’re as refreshing as they are instructive!
Great post David! It’s important to have accountability and feedback from a mentor. I don’t do that enough. I’m just in the process of setting up a FB lead ad and working on the email sequence and then the workflow. Look forward to seeing your progress! By the way I love what Harper says 🙂

Hi David,
Using a tracking sheet sounds like a great idea to get feedback back from your mentor on what areas and what to focus on.
This feels that you are developing a routine and will in time able to prioritize for yourself and offer as a service for those who join your list.
I am working on my own lead magnet so good to see what you’re doing and your plans to use it for FB leads.
Congratulations. Well Done.
David, your monthly review process with Dean sounds incredibly beneficial for staying on track and making progress. Increasing email frequency to daily for a month is a great strategy to find the optimal number of emails for engagement. Monitoring factors like time of day and subject lines will provide valuable insights. It’s true that “You don’t know what you don’t know” until you test and analyse. Best of luck with your new email workflow! Thanks, Atif
